It’s been a couple weeks since our trip to the ranch to pick up Flash…. I just wanted to take a minute to say how blessed and excited I am to be the first winner of a fantastic foundation Quarter Horse from the Aduddell family at Third River Ranch. Let me start out by saying the Aduddell family is the epitamy of what a quality horse breeding program should be, from their passion for raising good versatile horses to their humble faith in god this family is dedicated to preserving the foundation quarter horse for the future. We traveled 1500 miles to a ranch that we had never met to accept the most special prize I had ever won . From the very beginning I felt like we had just rolled up to visit with old friends, we had a horse connection from the time my name was announced on Facebook for all the world to see I had been chosen from about 2500 entries to win the first pick of their weanling crop. I got to choose the one I wanted hard as it was I chose the handsome buckskin colt. We were invited in for lunch then we were given the full tour of their ranch horse program the stallion, 2 year olds, yearlings, and weanlings all were eager to greet us and of fine ranch horse quality ,but my prize would be the last to meet……This weanling was already halter broke, quiet and curious. He loaded in the trailer for the first time like a champ and traveled for a day and a half back to Pennsylvania as well as any seasoned horse I have had, ate the whole way without hesitation and rested when he could with no worries at all and of course settled in at our barn like he had been there from day one. For anyone that is in the market for a rugged all around quarter horse, quiet, gentle, athletic and smart as a whip should visit the Aduddell family .It was over the moon worth the trip and I brought back the ultimate souvenir! Thank You Third River Ranch from the bottom of my heart, Susie, Clinton, and Zane Cessna
