Here at Third River Ranch we breed for an all around athletic horse, with good bone and a FANTASTIC MIND! It’s great to have good bloodlines, as you want bloodlines from proven champion lines; 
HOWEVER, bloodlines without brain is a recipe for disaster.
Our goal is to raise foals with good minds so they are trainable and versatile…. and so even if they do speed events, they have a good mind so they can handle the pressure of those tasks and still be a fun horse to ride to go on trails and gather cattle.
