TR SWEET PROMISE

About

An incredible addition to our remuda, this 2017 mare pairs a calm, steady disposition with proven success as a broodmare. Her elite pedigree traces back to legendary foundation bloodlines like Sugar Bars, Three Bars, and Poco Bueno. Furthermore, she is sired by our own signature stallion, Fancy Cut Diamonds (by Genuine Doc and out of a Diamonds Sparkle mare). True to her heritage, she consistently produces quick, athletic, and highly agile offspring.

Pedigree & Heritage

Sire Side: A Legacy of Performance

Her sire’s pedigree traces back to some of the most influential legends in Quarter Horse history:

• Diamonds Sparkle: An outstanding show horse and legendary AQHA broodmare. She was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame in 1996 and the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2007.

• Doc Bar: The stallion who revolutionized the cutting horse industry. As Charlie Ward of the Jensens’ ranch famously noted, “His colts are all uniform and possess a lot of sense. They’re easy to train, they have a lot of natural ability—every one of them is cowy.” Doc Bar was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 1993.

• Poco Bueno: A legendary sire of 405 registered foals, including 36 AQHA Champions and 3 NCHA Hall of Fame inductees. Trainer Bob Fagan once said, “To tell you the truth, Poco Bueno was the greatest horse I’ve ever been with… He was easy to handle. Gentle. And smart. Nearly all his colts were the same way.” He was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 1990.

Dam Side: Packed with Greatness

Her maternal lineage is equally elite, stacked with powerhouse producers and arena champions:

• Sugar Bars: A foundational sire known for producing elite speed event racehorses and high-quality performance horses.

• Mr San Peppy: The iconic cutting champion and legendary sire, inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2011.

• Two Eyed Jack: The all-time leading sire of AQHA Champions. His incredible legacy includes siring 119 AQHA Champions, 16 AQHA World Show Champions, 242 Performance ROM earners, and 3 AQHA Supreme Champions.
