Affectionately known around the paddock as “Sunflower,” Third River Class is a foundation-bred mare boasting an elite pedigree that includes Leo, Poco Bueno, and Sun Frost. A striking palomino roan, Sunflower consistently passes on her exceptional color, correct conformation, athletic ability, and gentle disposition to her foals.

Legendary Lineage

• Sun Frost: Her lineage features the handsome palomino stallion Sun Frost, a 2022 AQHA Hall of Fame inductee renowned for his speed, cutting ability, and stellar mind. A sire of legendary barrel racing horses, his disposition remains one of his greatest legacies.

• Driftwood: Tracing back to Sun Frost’s great-grandsire, Driftwood (originally known to ropers as “Speedy”), Sunflower carries the blood of a rodeo icon. Revered for his explosive speed out of the box, durability on the road, and calm nature under pressure, Driftwood sired generations of athletic, pretty-headed horses that excel in the arena.
