Gender: Mare Color: Bay
Date of Birth:
April 26, 2018
Description:
This mare is out of one of our best mares on the ranch so for obvious reasons we could not part with her. Keen looking with lots of cow horse breeding she has had many versatile babies. Great minded and a quick learner, something that we have seen in all of her foals as we have worked with them. All of her colts have been easy to halter break, and are very gently and calm with just the right amount of personality making them fun companions. This mares foals can go in about any direction due to their athletic ability and great minds.

For Reference, her pedigree breakdown:
Dam’s side:Count Peppy McCue, who is the offspring of Peter McCue. Peter McCue was an American Quarter Horse who had unmatched speed in quarter-mile racing and he was a foundational sire. In his lifetime he produced numerous champion racehorses and working ranch horses. Also on her dam’s side is Leo’s Sundancer who goes back to Leo. Leo produced over 400 registered foals and that included 14 champions and multiple speed record holders. He was known for not only producing top cutting and racehorses but for also having a wonderful, gentle disposition. So as you can see, this mare has wonderful breeding in her background that she continues to pass on to her offspring.
Sire’s side: Diamonds Sparkle: Hall of fame 2007; Outstanding show horse and quarter horse broodmare. 1996 was inducted into the NRHA hall of fame.
Doc Bar; revolutionized the cutting horse industry. “His colts are all uniform and possess a lot of sense. They’re easy to train, they have a lot of natural ability – every one of them is cowy” sited from AQHA – a quote from Charlie Ward of the Jensens’ ranch. AQHA hall of fame in 1993
Poco Bueno: Sired 405 registered foals; 36 were aqha champions and 3 are in the ncha hall of fame. Fagan once said, “To tell you the truth, Poco Bueno was the greatest horse I’ve ever been with, and I’ve been around a lot of them. He was easy to handle. Gentle. And smart. Nearly all his colts were the same way.” Sited from the aqha website. Inducted into the aqha hall of fame 1990
