Poco Bueno (#0003044)
Foaled by sire, King P-234, Poco Bueno was a late bloomer and plain brown in color, rather than the regal blood bay of his sire.
Shown by Three D Stock Farm, Poco Bueno won several shows, including the Denver National Western Stock Show. Broken to ride, he was taken to cutting fame by Pine Johnson, who took Poco Bueno to the toughest competitions. The Pine & Poco team consistently won prizes.
Earning his AQHA Champion title around the same time as his daughter, Poco Lena, his line includes AQHA Champions and NCHA Hall of Fame inductees.
Best remembered as a gentle, easy to handle and smart horse, Poco Bueno passed away when he was 25. Inducted into the AQH Hall of Fame in 1990, you can learn more about Poco Bueno at AQHA Hall of Fame.
